Confirmed varieties of Views of USSR

The 1959 Soviet postage stamp series “Landscapes of the USSR” is a charming collection of nine artistic stamps showcasing the natural beauty of the vast Soviet territory. Each stamp depicts a specific scenic motif, such as rivers, mountains, forests, or coastal landscapes, reflecting the geographical diversity across the nation.

The designs are rendered in a classic mid-20th-century style, featuring muted color palettes, detailed engraving-like artwork, and the familiar “Почта СССР” (Post of the USSR) inscription. The series was issued in December 1959, with part of it released on December 15 and the remainder on December 30.
