The 1959 USSR stamp “Japanese Painter Ogata Korin (1658–1716)” is part of the Soviet philatelic series dedicated to world culture and art. It was issued in 1959, with catalog number 2209 in the “Standard-Collection” series. The print run was 1,500,000 copies. The stamp’s dimensions are approximately 26 × 37 mm, and it has a perforation gauge of 12½ × 12. It was printed by the photogravure method; conditions are known both mint never hinged (MNH) and canceled.
